Products

A product is the material result of production - everything we can offer someone to satisfy their need or desire. 

The Products category contains a database of all the products you have ever created, whether they are now active or inactive. When you click on a product, a window will open with all the information and details about that product, which you can correct and supplement if necessary. 

You can also create a new product at any time. To begin with, you will be allowed to enter only basic information about that product, such as Product Name, Code, Price without VAT, taxes, who is the manufacturer. Also from the previously defined delivery types, you will be able to indicate what is possible for this product, unit of measure, a unit of weight, as well as the exact dimensions and weight of the package. 

When all the new information is entered and the product is created, new tabs are opened that we can fill in and thus describe the product in more detail. In the Description tab, enter more detailed information about the product. Everything we enter here will be on our site as a product description, so we need to make sure that all information is as accurate as possible and that it includes all the details that are relevant to a particular product. 

The next tab is Marketing, and in it, we bring everything that presents our business and products in the best light, those things that will attract as many customers as possible. Some examples are fast or free delivery, extended warranty for some products, quantity discounts, etc. Here we can even enter the telephone contact center and profiles on social networks. We will simply bring in all the positive things that can set us apart from the competition and that can attract new customers. 

The next tab is the SKU - a number or series of alpha and character numbers that uniquely identify the product (make up its code). Here we need to enter all the product options that remain, whether they differ in color, size, or something else. For each option we enter, the software will create a unique SKU that expresses exactly that product with the selected dimension, color…

In the Transactions tab, we can track all inputs and outputs for a particular product, when it is made or imported, when it is reserved, warehouse transfers, when it is issued from a warehouse and delivered to the customer, etc.

The special price refers to all promotions and discounts, which can be short-term (until a certain date) or permanent (until the product is distributed). The discounts entered here will be automatically displayed in your web store.

In the Inventory tab, we need to enter information on whether the product is active, to determine whether it is a production program or component, how it can be delivered, and whether it is for online sale. 

In the Suppliers section, we need to enter all the suppliers from whom we procure the product in question (if we do not manufacture the product ourselves). We can choose the primary supplier for that product, as well as enter prices and rebates if approved by the supplier. 

The Production tab is used to enter each product to which part of the production it belongs. Each company will have its own production processes through which products pass. 

The last tab we need to fill in is Groups I categories. Here we enter in which group and in which product category this product belongs.
