Shipping rules

Delivery rules give us the opportunity to create rules for certain delivery options according to which the system will calculate delivery costs.

We add delivery rules by selecting the Delivery subsection from the Settings section and within it the Rules. Clicking on the "Add" button will open a window where you need to enter the required information in order to create a new rule. First, we need to select the Delivery Option for which we create the rule, then enter the Maximum and Minimum Weight, Price Correction Factor, Minimum and Maximum amount without tax, Tax rate, and Price without tax.

One example of what delivery rules are used for is Delivery by courier service where based on the weight of the package we determine how much the delivery cost will be, enter a rule for each option and the system automatically withdraws it when we select the courier service option and certain package weight.
