Sales order fulfilment status
Order realization status follows the course of events through which an order passes from the moment it is ordered to the moment it is completed.
The initial status that the realization received when creating is Unprocessed. As the name suggests, this is about the realization of the order that needs to be processed. At this stage, it is necessary to enter all general information about the order itself, the address to which it is delivered, the method and option of delivery, from which warehouse or store the goods will be picked up and the date when the delivery is planned.
After entering all the necessary information for the realization, we assign the status Placed. When a realization is ordered, it means that it has become visible to the sector that needs to process the entire order together with the realization. When the realization is in the status Placed, it is possible to add and remove products from the realization. We can, if necessary, add products to the order. We can also remove a product from the order, but the precondition is that the product is first removed from sale.
The next step is to take the realization of the order into Processing. In this phase, all the necessary steps that are necessary for the order to be realized are processed. These can be the preparation of standards if something needs to be produced, the purchase of all necessary materials or for products that are procured as finished products, checking the stalls and availability for ordering, checking inventory, etc.
When everything is ready for the delivery of realizations, we assign the status Pending. This refers to waiting for the order to arrive for delivery.
When the pending order is next to be delivered, we assign it a travel order, which brings additional information about the delivery method, and it goes to the status Dispatched.
When the order is delivered, it is necessary to complete the whole story and perform the action of completing the realization, ie. assign realization status to Completed.
The last status we will mention, Awaiting dispatch, refers to orders that have been returned from delivery for some reason (usually refers to a complaint or the customer's inability to receive the goods), checks and corrections are made for which the order was returned and when ready for re-delivery we assign it this status.
Another useful option we can use is for the system to create a document for us. The documents that the system can automatically create are delivery orders, invoices, production orders, and purchases.
